Tour A lasts 55 minutes and takes participants around south Sedona. You’ll see gorgeous views and pass through the famed Tlaquepaque’s Art district. There’s a 15 minute stop over at the renowned Chapel of the Holy Cross, a stunning worship space built right into the red rocks. The tour runs twice every day, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tickets are $19.99 for adults and $12.99 for kids.

Tour B also lasts 55 minutes and goes around West Sedona and Boynton Canyon. This is a great way to experience some of the best views in Sedona. Check out Thunder Mountain and Chimney Rock. Then you’ll proceed to Coconino National Forest and see the stunning red rock canyons that have made Sedona famous. This tour runs four times a day, at 10 a.m., 12:30, 3:30, and 4:30 p.m. Tickets are the same price as Tour A. The guides on both tours are very knowledgeable and will narrate the whole trip, as well as answering questions.

If you can’t decide which tour to take, why not both? Tickets for the combination tour are $29.99 for adults and $19.99 for kids. You can opt to take the tours back to back or take a break between and get lunch and go shopping.

Right now, due to the city’s mask mandate and social distancing requirements, all tour-goes are required to wear a mask. Tours have decreased capacity, too, so it’s a good idea for Sedona property owners to book their tour as soon as they can.

People living in Sedona looking for a fun and affordable way to support local businesses should check out Locals Nite Out. Sponsored by the Sedona Chamber of Commerce, the event happens on Wednesdays from 3 to 8 p.m. Head to the featured restaurant and enjoy buy one, get one free entrees. The discount applies to the lower priced entree and is good for dine-in meals only, no take out. The Chamber asks that participants tip their servers at 15 to 20% of the pre-discount bill.

The next Locals Nite Out is this Wednesday, December 16th. The featured restaurant is Open Range Grill and Tavern, located in Uptown, convenient to most Sedona homes. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and diners can choose to eat inside in the cowboy-themed dining room or on the temperature-controlled patio. Wherever you choose, you can enjoy the red rock views that make Sedona famous.

Take a Night Off From Cooking at Your Sedona Home and Have BBQ, Burgers, or Mexican

The menu offers a varied selection of American and Mexican favorites. Every dish is made with fresh, organic ingredients which are locally sourced as much as possible. Start with one of the freshly chopped salads, like the caesar salad, the beet salad, or the Sedona chopped salad. Make it a meal by adding steak, chicken, salmon, or veggie meat. The Sedona Dog Park offers a fun place for dog owners who live in Sedona real estate to come with their dogs. It’s a great place to meet other dog owners who call Sedona home and let your dog socialize and run around off-leash. There are separate sections for large dogs and small dogs. Sedona Dog Park is located at 950 Soldiers Pass Road in Sedona. It’s on the corner of Soldiers Pass Road and Carruth Drive. The hours that the park is open changes with the season. Park hours are 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. from April 1st to October 1st and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from October 2nd through March 31st. Every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. the park is closed for sanitizing the facilities.

Before coming to the dog park, it’s important to understand the rules. There are many to follow. All dogs must have a city license and be up to date on vaccines. Owners must clean up after their dogs. Females who are in heat or males who are not neutered are not allowed at the park. Owners must stay with their dogs at all times and excessive barking is not allowed. Please do not bring dog treats, make sure your dog has a collar, and use a leash when coming into and leaving the park. It’s not recommended to bring infants or toddlers, and children under 12 must be with an adult. No smoking, weapons, or glass containers are allowed. All aggressive dogs must be removed immediately from the park.

In preparation for the upcoming holidays, consider registering for a virtual class called Let’s Cook! Holiday Treats That Make You Happy and Healthy. This class has two time slots available. Attend on Thursday, December 3rd from either noon to 1 p.m. or from 6 to 7 p.m.

This will be an interactive online cooking class where teacher Chris Kalinich will be in her kitchen and you will be learning in the comfort of your own kitchen at your Sedona home. Chris will teach all participants how to create delicious treats that are also healthy. Impress your friends and family with some new recipes that use many common ingredients you probably already have.

The class will last for one hour and all participants will be able to ask questions at the end of class. Everyone will receive emails that have pre and post class information to help you be successful.
