Not many people purchase Sedona real estate because of the amazing local breweries, but it’s certainly a cool perk. Arizona boasts many excellent breweries, and many will be represented at Ales on Rails. The fun event is hosted by Verde Canyon Railroad and runs from September 14th through October 31st. It’s a nod to the Old World Oktoberfest with a Sedona twist. Enjoy the gorgeous scenery of the Verde Valley as the greenery puts on its autumn splendor of red, gold, and orange. Saying farewell to summer is easier when you say hello to autumn with great beer and time with friends.
Find Beers and Food to Please Everyone from Sedona Homes
Ales on Rails tickets are $112 for the train ride and four 3-ounce beer tastings. For $125, you get a delightful lunch before the ride, as well as four beer tastings. Both tickets include a souvenir pint glass. There are a huge variety of beers for everyone 21 and older from Sedona homes to try, from hoppy IPAs to chocolate stout to light pilsners. The station patio will be set up for lunch as well as all beer tasting. When you check out with your ticket, you can choose from several different sandwiches, including vegetarian options.
Once you’re aboard the train, you’ll enjoy fruit, meats, and cheese to snack on, along with delicious brownie bites. You’ll also be able to purchase full pints of your favorite beer. Sit back in the fabulously comfortable couches and chairs and watch as the scenery flows by. You can also take in the fresh air on the open-air viewing car. The view of the Sycamore Wilderness is incomparable, and is inaccessible except by train.
Plan to leave your Sedona real estate in time for lunch and beer tastings at the station, starting at 11 a.m. and going until 12:45 p.m. At 1 p.m., you’ll board the train for the beautiful four-hour journey. This is a great trip to take with a group of friends or to have a date with your special someone.
