The Sedona Dog Park offers a fun place for dog owners who live in Sedona real estate to come with their dogs. It’s a great place to meet other dog owners who call Sedona home and let your dog socialize and run around off-leash. There are separate sections for large dogs and small dogs. Sedona Dog Park is located at 950 Soldiers Pass Road in Sedona. It’s on the corner of Soldiers Pass Road and Carruth Drive. The hours that the park is open changes with the season. Park hours are 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. from April 1st to October 1st and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from October 2nd through March 31st. Every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. the park is closed for sanitizing the facilities.
Before coming to the dog park, it’s important to understand the rules. There are many to follow. All dogs must have a city license and be up to date on vaccines. Owners must clean up after their dogs. Females who are in heat or males who are not neutered are not allowed at the park. Owners must stay with their dogs at all times and excessive barking is not allowed. Please do not bring dog treats, make sure your dog has a collar, and use a leash when coming into and leaving the park. It’s not recommended to bring infants or toddlers, and children under 12 must be with an adult. No smoking, weapons, or glass containers are allowed. All aggressive dogs must be removed immediately from the park.
