Wine lovers living in Sedona homes are in for a treat when they visit Winery 1912. The winery specializes in Spanish wines, first grown in what is now Arizona when the Catholic missionaries needed wine to celebrate Mass. Getting wine shipped to the territory took months, so the priests began to plant vines and age their own wines. Today, Winery 1912 maintains its own vineyards in Willcox, about a five hour drive south of Sedona real estate. There’s really nothing quite like drinking wine made from grapes grown so close to home.

Come into the tasting room to try a flight of white or red wines. Each flight includes samples from six wines for $15. Each has its own unique notes, and the host or hostess will be able to answer any questions you have. Round out your visit with something to eat from the carefully curated menu. Try the charcuterie and cheese board, served with dried fruit and lavosh. Vegans will enjoy the organic vegan cheese wheel and lavosh. There’s also antipasto, olives, and lavosh or hummus and lavosh. Or opt for a simple selection of dried fruits and nuts. There are gluten-free options available for a small upcharge. Quench your thirst with a bottle of sparkling water or Izze sparkling fruit beverage. You can also order a full glass of seasonal wine.
Join the wine club to have fabulous Winery 1912 wines delivered to Sedona homes three times a year. Each shipment includes four bottles. Choose all red wines, all white wines, or a mix. The price of the wine shipments are discounted 20%. Members also get a 15% discount on wines purchased at the tasting room. In addition, members can stop in at the tasting room with up to three guests and receive a free tasting three times a year. One free appetizer per tasting is also included.
