The Rotary Club of Sedona Village is always doing something that benefits those living in Sedona. This group of people enjoys doing good deeds. Consider joining them to make new friends and to do good things for the community. Even if you are not interested in becoming a member, consider supporting this organization and participating in their events and programs.
One event that’s coming up is the Plant and Seed Sale. Everyone living in Sedona is invited to come purchase some great plants and seeds to get a jump on spring planting. Feel good about growing your own vegetables and give the bees and butterflies fuel with some amazing flowers in your yard. The sale will take place on Saturday, March 13th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Community Garden. This is located at 25 W. Saddlehorn at the Big Park Community School.
Plants and seeds will be for sale from Arizona Milkweeds for Monarchs, Sedona Mushrooms, and Verde Valley School Farm. Available plants include mushrooms, kale, sunflowers, wildflowers, medicinal plants, peas, chard, strawberries, onions, melons, corn, squash, beets, herbs, and beans. Please bring cash for your purchases and also wear a mask.
Find Out How Sedona Home Owners Can Support the Community Garden
If you don’t have room for a garden at your Sedona real estate, ask about the up and coming Community Garden. Volunteers and sponsors are still needed for this project. Consider spending time helping to get the garden ready or donating money to get things going. Sponsorships are also available. If you are interested in learning more about how you can help, contact Heather Hermen at heather@frontburnermedia.com When everything is done, consider getting yourself a patch of earth to tend. Gardening is a very rewarding venture. Read more about the Sedona Village Rotary online and find all of the details about the plant sale and other projects.
