Artistic types living in Sedona are surrounded by all kinds of galleries and classes to encourage them to explore their creativity. If you’ve never been to The Melting Point, a working glass blowing studio, do yourself a favor and go as soon as you can. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday through Monday. It’s impossible not to be inspired by the amazing glass creations. The guys at The Melting Point know that, and that’s why they hold glass making classes at their Sedona real estate location.
Sedona Real Estate Owners Will Have a Blast at the Beginners Class
If you’ve never worked with glass before, you can sign up for one of the beginners classes. The cost varies between $80 and $200, depending on what you want to make. That’s right--the best way to learn how to create glass art is to do it, so you’ll walk away from the class with a gorgeous piece of art that you made yourself. Once you’ve had a taste of the basics, you might want to dive more in-depth into the process of blowing or rolling glass. Good news! The guys at The Melting Point are happy to work with you to set up a more challenging class. They also have a regular schedule of classes, as well as occasional master classes, perfect for anyone living in Sedona to hone their skills.
Maybe the idea of taking a glass art class with nine of your best friends appeals to you. Well, The Melting Point is happy to host a class just for you. Up to 10 participants can be accommodated in the hot shop or 12 in the torch studio. The party will be 2 to 3 hours long, and you are welcome to arrange catering (including alcohol!), as long as the vendor is properly licensed.
Visit The Melting Point online to check out the online gallery, get more information about upcoming classes, and read the class policies.
